I'm excited to offer you a range of Pilates classes: from Mixed Ability mat classes that focus on the Pilates principles to Pilates and a Pint mat classes that help you connect with your body and with people in your community: from Gentle Reformer Pilates classes that focus on restorative movements, balance and mobility to Dynamic Challenge Reformer Pilates classes that are a more athletic Pilates workout. My hope is that there is something for everyone as finding a class you enjoy at a time that works for you is key to achieving your goals - whatever they may be.
In group classes, you get to move and connect with like minded people. The classes are taught with attention and compassion and focus on: improving your posture, strengthening your body, mobilising your joints, enhancing your balance and coordination and relieving stress and tension. I pay attention to the finer details and offer individual guidance and movement options to make everyone’s experience the best it can be. You can expect a range of classical and creative Pilates movements with just the right amount of challenge to encourage you to push yourself to exceed that which you thought possible.
In all of my classes my aim is to help people progress to a place of increased confidence, strength, mobility and balance using personalised Pilates that meets them where they are at and supports them to move efficiently and exceed that which they thought possible.
I look forward to seeing you on the mat,
Hannah
Mixed Ability Mat Classes
Mixed Ability Mat classes focus on the Pilates principles: core stability, breathing, mobility, alignment, precision of movement and flexibility. Learning or revisiting these principles helps enhance your Pilates practice and ensures that you get the most from your time on the mat. These classes combine classical and creative Pilates movements with a strong focus on the abs and glutes and a range of both strengthening and stretching. This class is suitable for beginners but you will be challenged whatever your level.
Mixed Ability classes are held in the Studio at The Flavel in Dartmouth on Mondays at 9:05am and 10:05am
Pricing: a 50 minute group class is £11 (paid in advance for the term) or £12 for a drop in session (when there is availability).
Gentle Reformer Classes
Gentle Reformer classes are perfect for those who prefer a slower paced class or who have movement limitations. These are gentle classes that focus on restorative movements, balance and mobility.
I teach Gentle Reformer classes at the Move with Grace studio in Ashprington on Mondays at 4:15pm and 5:30pm. https://www.movewithgrace.co.uk
Mixed Ability Reformer Classes

I teach Mixed Ability Reformer classes at the Move with Grace studio in Ashprington on Thursdays at 9:30am , 10:45am and 6:30pm https://www.movewithgrace.co.uk
Dynamic Challenge Reformer Classes
Dynamic Challenge Reformer classes are perfect for those with Pilates experience who prefer an athletic workout. With all of the benefits of the Pilates principles combined with classical and creative Pilates movements and dynamic work, these are challenging classes and not suitable for those with significant injuries or limitations.
Pilates and a Pint Mat Classes
I’ve teamed up with ‘Things Happen Here’ to brew a better community. Connect with your body in your Pilates class and then connect with others over a Pint. Bring lots of enthusiasm and a mat if you have one. Price includes a 50 minute Pilates class and a pint. First Tuesday of each month: Pilates at 6:10pm, Pint at 7:00pm - both in the bar at Things Happen Here, Dartington. https://www.wegottickets.com/pilatesmoveefficiently
Tee Time Mat Classes for Golfers
Golf requires skill, power, finesse, and body awareness. Poor core strength, lack of flexibility and restrictions in rotation can drag down your game. The good news is that they can all be improved with dedicated Pilates practice. Whether you want to lower your handicap, hit the ball further, improve your accuracy or maybe just play a round of golf without pain, you would benefit from a Pilates class that focuses on muscular strength, joint flexibility and the perfect balance between mobility and stability
